Year 2: Practically Walk in Freedom
Building Spiritual Maturity on a Strong Foundation
Year 2 of Lifestyle Christianity University builds upon the foundation of Year 1.
Students in Year 2 Christian leadership training will grow in spiritual maturity and strengthen your identity in Christ. Year 2 focuses on partnering with the Holy Spirit and living out your Christian identity. We’ll provide opportunities to do so in both everyday life and ministry.
After a transformative first year of LCU Christian leadership development, you’ll take the next steps in discipleship. Continue reading to learn all the year will hold.
Learning How to Partner with the Holy Spirit
We design the lessons and electives of Year 2 to hone your spiritual sensitivity. Every Bible-based lesson will tune you in to the Holy Spirit. Rather than looking within or to leaders for direction and guidance, you’ll learn to hear His still, small voice. Then LCU will provide opportunities to practice this listening.
In our vibrant discipleship community, you’ll grow through small groups and ministry classes. However, the best learning experiences are through local outreach. This involves putting the love of Christ into meaningful action in the community.
Christian Leadership Development: Put Love into Action
At Lifestyle Christianity University, our mission is training and sending out bold believers. Our students carry the love of Jesus Christ beyond the local church. Our students live the gospel as a lifestyle, building their lives upon God’s Word.
LCU’s discipleship equipping program helps students build their identity in Christ. Our students learn how to walk in freedom and become powerful Christian leaders. Our training is affordable, community-based, and hands-on. We equip leaders grounded in the gospel to impact every sphere of society.
Our vision is to reproduce sons and daughters conformed to the image of God. Further, these children of God should live a Kingdom lifestyle in every sphere of influence.
Students study the Bible, grow in the Holy Spirit, and develop practical skills for ministry leadership in community. Our two-year degree program meets Monday-Thursday from 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM and includes:
- Daily worship
- Bible-centered ministry classes
- Small group discipleship
- Practical “love in action” outreach opportunities
Pursue a non-degree path or our Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies (AABS) degree, accredited through TACI. This degree recognizes our ministry training with transferable credits for future academic paths. Open to eligible students 17+ and available both online and on campus.
Topics of study and practice in Year 2 include:
- Identity in Christ
- Old Testament Studies
- Spiritual Disciples
- Kingdom of God
- Revival Lifestyle
Lifestyle Christianity exists to see a generation walk in their God-given identity. We do so by equipping people to encounter Jesus daily and walk like He says we can. If you’re ready to not only discover your identity in Christ but also to live it out with intention, join LCU.
